Compact Tru-Stir Shaft Coupling fits 10mm Shaft OD for use with Jacobs Chuck. Similar to CG-2044 but the overall height is 1” shorter. The unique design of our Tru-Stir™ stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical S.S. spring permitting up to 1/8” of offset misalignment. Coupling is rated for 21 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated w/common coil springs.Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter w/one piece collar for attachment to 10mm stirrer shafts. Upper adapters permit the coupling to be used w/ a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck. Upper coupling size is 3/8". Adapter is also available for use with CG-2047 flexible shafts having 5/16” end fittings. Overall length of the coupling is 3”. Supplied complete with an allen wrench set.
